Esto refleja una \u00e9poca de discriminaci\u00f3n racial en la \u00e9poca virreinal, donde los afrodescendientes, aunque libres, eran segregados socialmente.\nImportancia actual:\nEl mural y la placa parecen ser parte de una iniciativa para visibilizar la historia afrodescendiente en Le\u00f3n.\nReconoce la presencia y contribuciones de estas comunidades, que han sido hist\u00f3ricamente invisibilizadas.\nEl hecho de que est\u00e9 firmado por \u201cAfrodescendientes del B.A.\u201d sugiere un trabajo de memoria colectiva y reivindicaci\u00f3n identitaria de los habitantes actuales del
